MÖ nokta var mı?

Bir kısaltma olarak öne çıkan M.Ö. milattan önceki önemi gösteren bir terimdir. Bu durumda kısaltmanın doğru yazılması için mutlaka nokta kullanılması gerekir.

MÖ TDK nasıl yazılır?

Özellikle MÖ, Mö ve MÖ. gibi yazımlara sıkça denk gelme şansı vardır. Bu şekilde yapılan yazılışlarda hata olduğu görülür. Çünkü doğru bir yazım yapmak adına M.Ö. yazmak gerekir.

MÖ yıllar nasıl yazılır?

Bu takvimde 0 yılı tanımlanmamıştır. Bu tarihten önceki tarihler milattan önce (MÖ), bu tarihten sonraki tarihler milattan sonra (MS) olarak tanımlanır. Ayrıca İsa'dan önce (İÖ) ve İsa'dan sonra (İS) terimleri de aynı anlamda kullanılır.

MÖ nasıl oluyor?

Milattan önce (kısaltması MÖ), milattan önceki döneme işaret eder. İsa'nın doğum günü olarak Katolik Kilisesi'nin ekümenik konsillerinde mutabık kalınan yıldan itibaren referans alan miladi takvim; önce Jülyen, sonra Gregoryen takvimler şeklinde düzenlenmiştir. Milattan sonra dönemi ise milat sonrası kabul edilir.

MÖ ve MS nasıl ayrılır?

Daha sonra geliştirilen sistemde ise, milattan önce manasına gelen MÖ ve milattan sonra manasına gelen MS kısaltmaları kullanılır. Bu yeni sistem, İsa'dan önce (İÖ) ve Anno Domini (AD) veya İsa'dan sonra (İS) kısaltmalarıyla aynı dönemleri ifade eder, ancak herhangi bir dini baz almaz.

MÖ 1. yüzyıl, 1 Ocak MÖ 100 tarihinde başlayıp, 31 Aralık MÖ 1 tarihinde biter. Bu yüzyıl için alternatif bir isim ise MÖ son yüzyıldır. Bu MS/MÖ gösterimi 0 yılını içermez.

MÖ 3 yy nasıl yazılır?

Kısaltmalarda kurum, kuruluş ve üniversite adlarında bütün baş harfler büyük yazılır. Bunlara örnek olarak; TRT, TBMM, İTÜ, DSİ, TDK, TTK, MEB verilebilir. Kısaltmaların arasına nokta konulmaz.
